About

Romina took the road to photography in 2008. She started out with street and travel photography and is now focused on shooting live events.

At the early age of ten, she already owned a camera and has been fond of taking pictures ever since. She loves listening to indie, alternative rock, experimental, pop and acoustic. Her passion for both music and shooting eventually led her to music photography.

She got involved in the scene, from shooting in small gigs to capturing big events and concerts. To further sharpen her skills, she took up music photography workshop from one of the most renowned photographers in the country, Niña Sandejas.

Some of the bands and artists she has taken photos of are Paramore, Katy Perry, Mae, Taken By Cars, Kjwan, Hijo, Sinosikat?, Urbandub, Salamin, Techy Romantics, Tanya Markova, Parokya Ni Edgar, Juan dela Cruz Band, Giniling Festival, Franco, Imago, Sugarfree, Turbo Goth, and Up Dharma Down.

Romina is a graduate of BS Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas. In 2010, she was one of the top 20 finalists in the UST Quadricentennial Photography Contest. She is currently working as an architect.
